DEREK
A. REAMS
is a civil trial attorney handling
personal injury cases. Attorney Reams, a native Floridian born in
Tallahassee, received his undergraduate degree in May 1997 in Criminal
Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi where he was also a
scholarship baseball player. After receiving his degree, Attorney Reams
worked for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and completed the
Minimum Standards Training Course required by the State of Florida to
become a police officer. Upon completing the course and during the time
he attended law school, Attorney Reams worked with the Leon County
Sheriff’s Office as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff. Attorney Reams graduated
from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) School of Law with honors
in December 2001. After graduating law school, Attorney Reams worked as
an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas
County, Florida for the past three years. As a prosecutor, Attorney
Reams had over twenty-five jury trials involving cases such as armed
robbery, trafficking in drugs, home invasion robbery, tampering with a
witness, dealing in stolen property, grand theft, sale and possession of
drugs, and DUI. In a recent case against a major insurance company,
Attorney Reams was successful in obtaining an excess judgment verdict
for our client.

BRYANT BOYDSTUN, JR. Of Counsel
has been practicing law in Florida for 25
years. Attorney Boydstun is admitted to practice in both Florida and
Tennessee, as well as before the United States Supreme Court. Attorney
Boydstun is Board Certified by the Florida Bar and the National Board of
Trial Advocacy in the areas of Civil Trial Practice. Cases handled by
Attorney Boydstun include personal injury claims, abuse claims, chemical
exposures, medical malpractice and product liability claims, in addition
to other accident matters. He has a long history of involvement in
complex cases.
